I am not a Terrorist !!!

Yes, I am pointing to another SRK( my favourite actor) flick "My Name is Khan". After spending quality amount of money (which I hardly do on Movies), and time in the most busiest period of my semester (dont know what's yet to come!!!), I saw the movie in not so bad theatre (finally, got a better cinema hall in Allahabad !!) and enjoyed it. This was another sensible story (not a love story) by SRK after "Chak De! INDIA" and had a message. That message is what i wanna discuss.

"My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist !!!"

This is not about who the terrorist are & I am not pointing towards an cast or religion. But who were the actual terrorists?? The one responsible for 9/11 scene, or the one who were responsible for the post-attack incidences (racism & killing of the Muslim boy, as in movie). Where did everything went wrong??

I think, we all make a common mistake. We associate the person commiting the mistake, with the entire group or organisation (casteism, in this case) of which he is a part, i.e., if Osama did a mistake, every Muslim is a defaulter(this is just an example, dont take it otherwise). I remember an incident described in my hindi text book, which many of you might have read. A person teared off the pages of a picture book and was caught. From that day, the library denied entry for the people from the country, that defaulter was from. We generally do this, and this is truth. And we do this because we feel that the one in front of us is different from us.
Ask yourself-
  • Do I wanna live with other beings happily or I wanna live happily alone (strictly alone) for the rest of my life?
  • If alone, will I be living happily if I am alone?
See if you think about the caste of the person you wanna live with, while wandering above answers.
